Diane;
I appreciate the response but I have tried that several times and the
"install" always fails. It first asks for the "Microsoft Visual Studio
2005
Professional Edition - ENU" (My CD is not labeled that way - it is an
Upgrade). I put in my Disk 1 - Upgrade CD and Browse to the msi file
"D:\vs_setup.msi" on my CD drive but when I click "OK" it comes back
with
"Error 1706: An installation package for the product Microsoft Visual
Studion 2005 Professional Edition - ENU cannot be found. Try the
installation again using a valid copy of the installation package
'vs_setup.msi' ." >>
Wayne or anyone else did you find a solution? I have the same thing
happening here. It's more annoying than anything else because, like
you, if I hit cancel enough times Outlook eventually opens and it
behaves itself after that. However ... it would be nice to resolve it.
