Starting to HATE Office 2003

Scott McDonald

A user here cannot sent to mail recipient from Excel, word etc. His system is running Windows 2000 and Office Pro 2003. The message he gets is cannot start the default email program (or something to that nature) even though Outlook 2003 is running. I have checked in Internet Explorer to ensure that outlook is selected as the default email program and it is.

Problems like this seem to be rampant with Office 2003, I have a couple other users have the exact same issue or similar issues. Any ideas?

Thanks!

clean uninstall of office2000 then install office2003 and sometimes clean
first install of office 2003 and this happens. Deleting/recreating the
profile has been tried.
