I have a calculation and registration Excel program also containing forms.
I happens from time to time, when I do some improvements or changing the code,
everything works fine until I save and close the workbook.
When opening the file again, it seems to start calculate endlessly and Excel
locks up.
I have to force the close through Task Manager.
Usually I have a working backup before doing changes but I missed it this
time, I was only doing a small correction in the Forms part (which is not
used at all when opening the file). But there is an Autpen procedure
initiating the environment when the file is loading. I have no specific
iterations that could make trouble but another file is opened and links are
updated to closed files.
Is there any way to load the file without running the Auto_open procedure?
Furthermore, how to solve the problem? I need to set soem necessary parameters
when opening the file and open an additional WB as well.
I really would hate to go back to an old backup!
