Startup Form

I have a database that at one time would start up with a
particular form being displayed and the database window
being hidden. Someone changed this database (but doesn't
know what they did) and now the form is no longer
displayed at startup. I went under Tools and then startup
and selected the form I wanted displayed (as I normally
do), however, the next time I opened it, it did not save
those changes. I do not know what this person did to
change it or why it won't save my changes. Does anyone
have any suggestions for me?

Hum, that is strange.

I would check a few things:

Try opening the database, and then try launching that form you specified in
start-up.

Does the form run/open ok? So, make sure that start-up form runs just fine.
If it runs just fine, then try setting the form in the tools->start-up.

Also, do you get any kind of error messages when you launch the form?

One nasty thing to check is if any tool bars/menu bars have been specified
in the form. Those toolbars specifying stay with a form even when copying
between databases files, but the menu bars/tool bars do not normally get
copied.

Is there any code running to change the Startup Properties?
If someone has done that then it could be unsetting your selection in the
Tools-StartUp dialog.
