Hi,
When you first install Visio 2003 Pro with all the default setting in place
all is good. You load up visio and get a nicely formatted welcome page with
all the drawing types labeled and catagorised.
We are looking to move drawings, templates, stencils etc (Tools > Options >
Advanced > File Paths) to one of our servers to ensure file integrity. It
seems, however, that whenever the locations are changed to reflect the server
paths, we loose the nicely formatted page and just get a page with (other)
and a list of the files with their actual file names rather than the nice
description. This is also reflected in the File > New option which shows a
nicely formatted list when the settings are default and then follows the
above pattern.
Is there a file that can be edited, like an XML file or something that would
enable us to keep the nice welcome page AND move the files to a server.
Thanks.
