startup password

[John Lane]

How do I get around the startup password? I was given an app to maintain and
the original developer left without telling anyone the password. Thanks.

If user level security has been set up correctly, you can't bypass the Logon
screen. If not, clicking the database file name in Explorer view will open
the file; however, you may not be able to continue development in the same
file.
