Startup Problem with windows

I recently deleted some Palm Pilot software from my
laptop. Don't know what I did, but now when I boot up the
computer and while Windows 98 is loading, I get a box that
says,

"Click the program you want to open the file 'NotePad.dll'

How can I fix, replace, or make this message go away.
