Startup Reference to Graphic (Splash) Problem

T

tbl

MS Access 2000
Win2kProSP4

When I recently moved a db of mine from one drive to
another, I also decided not to use the startup graphic that
carried the same base filename as the db. I deleted the
graphic, and thought that would be the end of it, but every
time I open the db in Access (2000), it complains about the
missing graphic.

I haven't been able to find any reference to the graphic
within the Access db.

Any volunteers...?

Thanks,

Not quite sure what you mean by startup graphic. Is it a form that has a
graphic on it? If so, Open Tools, Startup, and select None in the Display
Form/Page box.

I don't see a menu called 'extra'. There is Tools|Startup,
but I can't find anything there that still refers to the
image.

Not a form, as such. Someone once tipped me off to the
trick of getting a custom splash screen for an Access db,
simply by creating a graphic and saving it with the .bmp
extension, and placing it in the same directory as the .mdb
file. Then, whenever the db is launched, the Access splash
screen is replaced by your custom image. It worked, but now
I feel it is unneeded, and would like to avoid the error
message when it can't be found.
