Startup Toolbar from Windows 2000

achidsey

I am configuring my computer using Office XP Professional and want to add
the Startup Taskbar from Office 2000.

From what I have read this is a feature that was not included in Office 2003
and later but that you can still add in if you have the Office 2000 disk.

I have the 2000 disk. What do I do to install the taskbar.

Thanks in advance,
Alan

Office Experts,

Thank you for the response.

However, the article referenced in the response doesn't match the prompts my
machine gives me.

The article referenced states:
Step 5, "Expand Office Tools, and
Step 6. Click the symbol next to Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar, and then
click Run from My Computer.

When I go Add Remove Programs, Office > Change, it doesn't give me any way
to "Expand Office Tools". Instead the dialog says, "Select the Microsoft
Office 2003 applications you would like to install. Please deselect the
microsoft Office 2003 apllicaitons you would like to remove."

So, how do I get to an option to add the Shortcut Toolbar??

Thanks Alan

In your original post, you say you are "configuring my computer
using Office XP Professional", and the referenced article does
work if you have Office XP. Do you have Office XP, or do you
have Office 2003?
