I modified the startup command for a database I was
working on, so that you can't see the toolbars...how in
the heck do I get them back!?!?

If I understand you correctly, just set the control box in
the form properties to yes.

Hold Shift while opening up your database. This will
bypass any startup procedures and will bring up your
database window. From there, you can go back to the
Startup menu and put the toolbars back.
