How do i get my default switchboard to open as soon as the database
is opened?

Click Tools -> Startup..., and enter the name of the form in the combo
box labeled "Display Form/Page". You may also want to uncheck the
option to display the database window.

I usually use the autoexec macro

I minimize the database dialog
Open the form I want
and lastly will MoveSize to the left upper corner

So when the databse opens the form I want opens and is ready to be used.
