state does not display in state column in contact window

My hard drive crashed and I was not able to restore from my backup image so I
restored outlook contacts from my iphone. Most all info was restored however
even though the street address, city, state and country are listed for each
contact they do not display in the appropriate column in the Contacts
display. Company, file as, business phone and mobile phone do display in the
appropriate column.
If I open an individual record and then open and close the address box the
street address, city, state and country will apprear in the appropriate
column in the Contacts display.
How do I make all information appear in the appropriate column without
opening and closing each address record. I have 2000 records.

I am using Office 2003

You might try exporting your Contacts to Excel and then importing them back
into Outlook. When you import you'll have the ability to map the fields from
the Excel data to the fields in your Contacts which should rectify the issue
you are encountering.
