State the scenarios where to use OneNote as against Groove

I would like to know when exactly to use 'Groove' and when to use 'OneNote'
as there are some overlapping functionalities that both can provide.

I think Groove and OneNote serve very different purposes.

OneNote is a tool I use by myself to keep track of meetings, projects, lists
of things I am working on.

Groove is a tool I use to collaborate with my teammates - to share documents
and ideas with them, to add a discussion thread and even to do instant
message chat.

Hope this helps...

J Esvelt shared these words of wisdom:
I think Groove and OneNote serve very different purposes.

Groove is a tool I use to collaborate with my teammates - to

Still: Quite some things being important for teamwork can be done with
ON too.
So if one does not have Groove, ON is a good instrument for sharing
information.
