Static Today()????

Is there a formula that will not update a date to the
current date?
In other words, yesterday I entered a date using a
formula say Today(). Today I do not want that date
updated to today. I want it to stay yesterdays date.
Please help.

Hi Newbe!

Use:
Ctrl + ;
Stamps the system date into the selected cell

Ctrl + Shift + :
Stamps the system time

And:
Ctrl + ; space Ctrl + Shift + :
Stamps Date followed by time
