Stationary for replies

How do I set up default stationary and a signature for replies and forwards?
I was able to do this with new messages but not for replies.

Dear,
Have you made a selection under Tools-option-Mailformat-signature for
replies and forwards.
Choose your stationery - under Tools-Options-Mailformat-Use this stationery
by default.

outlook uses the format the message arrived on - and the senders stationery,
not yours.
