stationary problem

Hi,

When I click on the small square on the right of the new page creater strip
I see the customized
stationary option I created. Fine.
However, I see 3 of the same kind, named same.
What is more stupid is that only on of the three actually applies the
stationary.
Is this a bug?

How can I clean the other two useless stationary?

I have checked the folder under office directory for stationary folder of
ON, and there resides
only one customized stationary, which I created.

What is happeining?

P.S: Ben or Chris, could you also consider my questions few lines below?
I am waiting answers for several days.
Thank you in advance.

Ben hi,
thanx for your concern.
I have messages titles: 'making me crazy' and 'source indication'
I include them below. Thank you in advance!

1. Hello people,

As you know, when you paste from a web page the source can be automatically
added in ON page.
I would like ON to add the reference also from other types of sources.
in particular, I copy and paste sentences from pdf files too frequently. If
ON could add, for instance,
the name of the file as the source name, it could be nice.

if this is not possible in ON2003, will it be in ON 2007?

Thanx in advance.

2. I am creating a stationary and when i try to save it
as a cutom stationary
i get the following message:

"the section name you specified already exists. Use a different section
name."

Unbelievable.
Why do i egt this stupid damn message?

What OneNote can show you about the source is actually dependant on the
application the content was pasted from. For example, if you pasted the same
text from a webpage in FireFox 1.0 and IE6, the text pasted from FireFox 1.0
didn't have the source information you are talking about. That capability
was added only in FireFox 1.5 and since then only could OneNote display it.
I don't know if the Adobe PDF reader actually provides this information via
the clipboard.
I would like to point out though that with ON 2007 (or with ON 2003 and the
ImageWriter PowerToy), as Chris Pratley mentioned in his blog, you can print
any document to OneNote. That means you could just print all your pdfs to
OneNote. They are treated as images in ON, so you can annotate them,
highlight stuff, etc.

Thanx Patrick.
Actually i dont wanna print any odf into pdf, instead i can simply copy
paste pharagraphs from pdfs.
I only wanted the source to be indicated as i will need to know where I have
pasted the pharagraph from.
Maybe this is a useful feature to be added in ON12.
So, it is in my wish list.

Hi Exciter,

You should try copying & pasting something from Word or Excel into OneNote.
I don't know for sure what 2003 does, but 2007 will say "pasted from" and
then the file name.
