Stationery with embedded pictures

I have created a HTML doc using front page and embedded pictures in this. I
have then used this file as template for stationery when sending a email.
When I start a new mail the text appears and the pictures are outlined but I
cant see the pictures, they is a red cross in the top right hand corner, how
can i amend this so the pictures are sent.
