Status Bar in Word

Can someone tell me how to get the items selected in Customize Status Bar to
show up on the status bar? I right clicked the bar and have several items
'checked' and nothing is showing on the status bar and I'd really like to see
number of pages and other items.

I'm forced to use the thumbnail view to see how many pages and I'm working
with documents that have like 20+ pages and need to know page counts.

Are you using office '07? If so, have you tried to right click on the status
barat the bottom wherethe page numbers would be?

Yes, I tried that and yes, 2007. But what I ended up finding is after I
selected everyting, I actually had to close the document and open it up for
the items to take effect! So, I now have it...thanks.
