How do I show the status field as a icon with colors green, red and yellow.
Could I program the colors. Please point me to where I can get to this
information.

Thanks

Hi Sam,

The procedure I have covered in my series on Microsoft Project in the
TechTrax ezine, particularly #15 on customization, at this site:
http://tinyurl.com/2xbhc or this:

(Perhaps you'd care to rate the article before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Assumed you already updated %Progress and set the status date of your
schedule. My creative solution as follows:
Add Text1 field/column before Name field. Right click Text1 column heading,
click Customize Fields….
Click Rename… button. Rename field, for example with “Statsâ€. Click
Formula…. button and create a formula Text1=[Status], click OK to see how the
field looks like. Your "Stats" column will contain with number 0(for Complete
tasks), 1(for On Schedule tasks), 2(for Late tasks) and 3(for Future Tasks).
Right click again column heading, click Customize Fields…., click Graphical
Indicators… button.
In the first row of Test column choose “equalsâ€, in Value(s) column type
“0â€, then in the Image column choose the image that you want to represent the
corresponding status of the task. And do similar steps to the other three
status into the next rows. Then click OK
