Status from Project not showing

Okay, this is wierd. In MS Project, using Task Usage, I enter hours on a task
for a resource. The hours I input match the scheduled hours. I save the file,
then I publish it using 'New and Changed Assignments'. The task now shows 80%
complete. When I go to Web Access and look at the project, the progress that
I just put in Project (by entering the actual hours) shows just like in
Project. However, when I go to resource assignments in PWA and and pull up
the resource that is assigned to the task (there's only one), that task only
shows 0% and no actual hours. What's up? Do you have to input this
information into PWA for it to show in PWA?

When you use Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments, you must select
the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option to "push" your
actuals from the Microsoft Project plan to the PWA timesheet. Did you
select that option when you republished the assignments?

I didn't realize that had to be done. I tried it and it works great. Thanks
