Status Manager Field in Project 2007

Hi, I have searched MS website for creating an alternate status manager for
tasks within a Proj Pro 2007 project plan. I have inserted the field in the
plan but still only see my name in the drop down box. How do I go about
adding multiple names to this status manager drop down list?

You Cannot add more resources to the list.
If you want to add another Sattus manager, the user must open the project in
project professional and the he set himself as satatus manager.

I am not sure about how to add an alternate status manager. Names in the
drop box are are either controlled by the names in the resource manager group
or the project manager group and of those names, who is on your project team.
My PM's are the same so I am not sure which one it is. You will be able to
change the names in most of the lines in the project however, Jose is correct
