Status report template

Charles

Good day all,

My org just implemented EPM and I am trying to find a way of customizing the
Status Report to include existing template. Since the fields in MsProj do not
match my template. The template I want to integrate and use as a standard for
all PM is a table that contains the following:

Division name
Project Name
Project Status Report

To: Date: Y N
date
Project Name: On Schedule – TP
- Overall
Prepared By: Within Budget-TP
- Overall
Period Covered: Change of Scope:

Activities Completed - Previous Period:
• Add text
Activities Planned - Next Period:
• Add text
Issues/Problems/Concerns: New (N); Carried Forward (C)
• Provide a bullet point summary of significant updates and/or actions to
risk resulting from the review of the Risk Log. For more detail of these
risks and others refer to the project Risk Log.
• Provide a bullet point summary of significant updates and/or actions to
issues resulting from the review of the Issues Log. For more detail of these
issues and others refer to the project Issues Log.
Schedule Status:
• Add text
Financial Status:
• Include corrective actions and change requests that may result from a
variance.
Management Action Required:
• Update and identify potential issues.
Attached Documents:
• Add text

Bad news. I know of no way to customize the default Status Report template
in PWa. Sorry.

Thanks Dale.

By the way, I am reading your book "Administering an Enterprise PMO using
Microsoft Office Project server 2003" recommended by B. Bonini of
RobbinsGioia in Ottawa, Canada.

As I mentioned in my intro. I am new to the application and every help is
really appreciated. So far I like it.

One area that I want to understand fully is the configuration of Custom
fields/outline codes and the all RBS as it relates to security.

It is nice to talk to you while I read your book...Excellent work guys!

Charles.
