status reports in project server 2003

I need to generate some reports by querying the Project database and am lost.
There are some values for cost, schedule, resources etc is being fed by the
mangers and I am not able to figure out which table to query. There is a
status every week which they fill, whether its current status is green, red
or yellow corresponding to one particular project. I can trace the cost,
start/end time of the project but that status is missing somewhere in some
column in a table. Would anyone be aware as to which table does those entries
go? There is a column "DECIMAL_VAL" in "MSP_WEB_WORKGROUP_FIELDS" table
corresponding to each project, is the right status that am looking at? I also
need its project name and the corresponding month for that status...

Hi,

How do they fill out the status? Is it in Project Professional? What
is the field called? From the Tools menu, click Customize, then Fields
and take a look at all the Custom Fields and Outline Codes. One (or
more) of those is the beginning of the answer to your question.

The rest of the answer depends on a) are the fields custom fields or
outline codes? b) what 'type' are they (task / resource / project) and
cost / number / text, etc.

If you send more info on the custom fields and the reports you're
trying to create, maybe I can help point you to the right tables.
