Status Reports Not Showing as Individual Response

I have a manager who has submitted status reports, but the icon on the status
report page doesn't indicate he submitted it. I received an email
notification that he submitted the report. If I go to the compiled report,
his response is loaded. Why doesn't the icon indicate he responded?
