status reports on progress and issues

I would like to set a project status report policy for employees.

Yet I dont want to have a timesheet for the progress of the projects and
another report for the hot issues of the day, since it is time consuming and
frustrates people.

I would like to have a status report where one can update the tasks assigned
to her (like in timesheets) and also have an extra fied for reporting
issues/risks

Is it possible through the project server???

It's entirely possible if you develop it yourself using the PSI. It is not
possible using the out-of-box tools in the interface.
