We are building an application using the PSI classes to transfer
actual work from an external source to Microsoft Project Server 2007.
However we are having serious performance problems with the
Statusing.UpdateStatus method. The queue job (Status Update) takes too
long to transfer ~100 timesheets to a relatively complex project
(~1000 assignments). The job is stuck (40% or 0% progress) and after
waiting for 30-40 minutes, it completes successfully (100%). We find
this performance unacceptable for a professional API and I wonder if
anyone else has faced a similar problem.
