stdole32.tlp problem

Hi!
I go into Word, Excel, etc it
re-runs the re-configure screen like it is the first time I ran the program.

Excel also give me an error about stdole32.tlb not being registered.

I am having the same issue.

I had O2K7 Beta installed. I uninstalled it priot to installing O2K7 and
have had this issue ever since.

I have tried the Windows Installer Cleanup utility, I have uninstalled and
manually cleared all entries in the registry, I have tried repair options.
None have worked. I am at a lost. I am fearing a reinstall of Vista is my
only hope.

Same problem here with office 2007 and vista. It´s a pain in the as
every time i start word, excel or other office program the setup windo
appear and i have to wait 5 min! Excel also give me the stdole32.tl
error and when i press OK everything is working until next time i star
it. I think this started after i installed office 2007 Swedish editio
(had English before). I have tried reinstall both the English an
Swedish but i still have the problem

I'm not sure why this fix would apply? Could you please enlighten us? I am
not to my knowledge " using a VBA macro or when you try to start the Visual
Basic Editor"
