Stencils not opening automatically with document

Hi all
I have a number of templates that have been created with Visio 5 and Visio
2000 Standard. These templates have associated stencils. We just purchased
Visio 2003 and when creating new documents based on these templates, the
stencils do not automatically open. I have a heap of templates so I don't
want to be manually opening up the stencils for each one.
Any ideas anyone?
