"Sticky Notes"

My boss asked me to attach "sticky notes" to the notes in a pdf file to
indicate what sections certain people should read. What is a sticky note and
how do I use it? I've never seen this before, also if I print the document
does the "sticky note" print on it? So far, no luck with that. Thank you.

by PDF you mean adobe acrobate ? If so here is a link to help you

This is something you add to the PDF file using Adobe Acrobat (the purchased
product, not the free Reader).

It may be possible to add some form of "stickies" in the original Office
document and have them appear as the PDF equivalent; that'd depend on how you do
the conversion and what Office app you use to create the original.
