Still a bug in picture object

Dotted line or curve (more annoying) in a picture object is printed
with jointed lines for Word X. The same problem happens in Word 2004.
Unsurprisingly, NEW bugs are found in Word 2004. Here are just those I
found most frustrating:
Text boxes in a picture object are filled with a black background (I
have mentioned this in an earlier message).
Brush Script MT font (installed and can be used in Word X) is not
found in the font menu.
The same document can have different font spacings when opened in Word
X and Word 2004. (Totally unacceptable!)
Can you test them on your machine and give me some feedback or, even
better, an explanation?

Hi TCM,

It's good that you are posting things that need attention.

It would help a lot if you could do two things. First thing is to
elaborate more. For example, when it comes to printing pictures there
are lot of variables that would need to be known in order to duplicate
the problem.

For example, please think about the problem you are having with dotted
and/or curved lines printing. What format is the picture? What program
created it? How many DPI is the picture? What steps did you take to put
the picture into Word? What kind of printer do you have (brand, model,
driver version)? What kind of computer do you have (OS version, hardware
type)? Is it just one picture in particular or all pictures?

The other request that I have is that it is easier to keep track of
things if one particular problem is posted per thread. A lot of people
search on subjects, so they might not see the answer to their question
if it is included as a reply to an unrelated subject.

As far as the font spacing is concerned, it is possible that you have
two different versions of BrushMT yet each has the same name. Have you
checked for this possibility?

I don't know what a text box in a picture is. How do you make one?
