Hi,
(thanks a lot Gary L. Chefetz!)
yes, I added the user to the OLAP Admins.
Project Server and SQL Server are on the same machine.
The only information, I did NOT entered during setup, was the topic about
the eMail server. (this shouldn't be a problem during this config-part,
correct?)
But unfortunately, I tried to build an OLAP Cube for the first time, when no
project was imorted to the project server.
....as soon as I remarked this mistake, I quickly imported the little
test-project - but the OLAP Cube couldn't still be created.
As I guess, no "wrong" informations (as bad addresses) can be given during
the setup without having an error-messange, is this correct?
All inputs during this part where accepted.
Can this give You a clearer view to the problem.
(the original problem was posted June, 20)
Thanks a lot for your help.
Regards
Patrick
