When i started creating a new site in frontpage all my
files went in to the directory C:\Documents and
Settings\AHM\My Documents\mywebs. when i goto publish, it
keeps this whole directory. so when you open the site,
you get the home page and the link address to the next
page points to my computer directory (C:\Documents and
Settings\AHM\My Documents\mywebs)How do i correct this
problem so the links won't point back to C:\ etc...?

And should i be configuring frontpage to publish my files
using a relative or virtual path to the server so it
transfers clean?

If you know how to use relative or virtual path, please
explain because I'm becoming a real dummy...

thx in advance,

John

Is mywebs an actual FP web folder, or just a folder w/ a series of pages in it
If it is a FP web did you create all your pages in the FP web by File Open Web (browsing to mywebs) and then File new page w/ the FP
web open
If not, then you need to make mywebs a FP web folder and File Import all your pages, then recreate your links from w/i the web
If so, Open the FP web and use File Publish Web to a top level folder - say C:\MyNewWeb
Then Open the new FP web location (File Open web C:\MyNewWeb) and use View Reports Problems - Broken links to correct all your links
