Still problems opening Word

When I try to open Word, I get the "There is a problem"
message and it closes. I tried Winword.exe /a, and I get
toolbars and I-bar w/ Fl. left icon to right.
I deleted Data in registry, Changed ".dot" to ".old",
and still We have a problem!
Also, when it shut down, my screen changes it res size!
What's going on?
