I have Word 2002 on Vista. I tried Mail Merge to make labels and lost my
document in the process. I later learned that the document must be renamed
before using Mail Merge. I used MS Help to find out how to get rid of Mail
Merge, and followed the directions I was given. Nothing worked. I thank the
two people who responded with directions, but I had already tried them. Now
I am unable to start a new document because all the Mail Merge logos
(parenthesis, return, period, little square, etc.) are still there and I
can't get rid of them. What I want is to be able to write my documents
without help from Mail Merge. I'm an author and poet, and this is
frustrating to the max. Does anyone have some way to totally get rid of Mail
Merge?
