Still troubles with cmd-`

I continue to have trouble with Excel '04 where cmd-` works the *same* as
ctrl-`. That is, both of them switch between displaying formulas and values.
CMD-` does not switch between open windows.

I've deleted all of the Excel prefs in my user directory and even my
personal macro spreadsheet. I've checked and rechecked System Prefs (10.3.7)
to make sure there are no predefined macros.

I've also logged in as another user. When I do this, the same problem
occurs.

Should I try to assign the macro cmd-` to another function, it allows me to
do so following the warning that it was previously assigned. If I then
delete it from that other function, it reverts back to its troublesome
state.

Removing Office using the remove tool seems rather extreme, as there are no
other undocumented bugs that are troubling me with Excel.

Is there anywhere else that I could look to remove this troublesome problem?

Thanks.

OK, I finally was able to reproduce something like the behavior you're
seeing.

If only 1 window is open:

- when I hold down CMD and tap the ` key (my usual mode), nothing
happens.

- when I hold down CMD and hold the ` key for more than a
half-second or so, it toggles between showing formulae and showing
values for as long as I hold the ` key.

If 2 or more windows are open:

- when I hold down CMD and tap the ` key, the next window is
activated.

- when I hold down CMD and hold the ` key for more than a
half-second or so, the next window is activated, and then it toggles
between showing formulae and showing values for as long as I hold the `
key.

What happens when you tap the ` key?

This also reproduces in XLv.X, though with two windows open, the
toggling happens intermittently (if it doesn't toggle formulae, the
cursor flashes between a watch and an arrow).

I've sent MacBU feedback on this...
