Stock Control with Warning System

I am trying to find a database for equipment that is checked out and back in
to the shop. I need to know inventory level and have some sort of reminder if
the inventory gets low or a piece of equipment has not been returned in a
certain amount of time. If anyone may know of a database or software that may
perform these functions please let me know. Your help is greatly appreciated.

You could certainly build such an application in Access or probably any other
database software. Depending on your detailed requirements it could be fairly
simple or complex.
Check out the Access database templates, there may be one that does
somehting like that.
