Stolen Computer and re-downloading

Our laptop was recently stolen and it had office 2003 on it. I have the
License Key Confirmation and the receipt and order information. Is it
possible to install the program that was originally purchased on our new
laptop? We never actually got a CD as it was purchased directly off of the
website and downloaded. I would hate to have to buy it again. Thanks

Was the laptop covered by insurance?
If so, the insurance company may technically own the license.
(Not that anyone would likely give you a hard time about it!)
If you still have the key, and can get your hands on an install package with
the same class license, you should be able to use it.

If it's a retail version, it would be a much better idea to replace the
disks. finding someone with the exact same version may be easy now but what
about 5 years down the road?

If the OP has a legitimate key then they can legitimately make a copy of the
CD......it's the license that is the "key" thing, not the media...
