Stolen computer. How do I secure my Outlook?

My computer was stolen and my internet provider (SBC) is unable to shut down
my e-mail account without turning off my DSL service entirely, and then it
takes 30 days for my e-mail address to be disconnected. I don't want e-mail
going to this address anymore since there is no way for me to secure Outlook
via another computer. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem
IMMEDIATELY? I do a lot of online bill payment, business, etc. All accounts
are password protected, but the fact that someone else may still be able to
see my mail freaks me out. Please help. Thank you.

They're blowing smoke at you. This is bologna (or baloney, depending on how
you want to spell it).

Right this very minute, log into your mailbox via a web brower and change
the account password to something not easily guessed. Even if they have
your mail address and ISP account name, they won't be able to get into your
mail account and read anything on the server. Of course, they WILL be able
to see anything on the PC that you downloaded from the mail server.
