Stolen software

Can someone please help me!!! I bought Office XP
Professional a year ago. I paid around $700 for it. I also
bought a new computer with Windows XP and all that. My
apartment was broken into, my software stollen. Although
we found the thieves and got most of my other things back,
my software (all my CDs) I never got back. But everything
I needed was installed on my computer. NOW I have a virus
on my computer that is so bad I can't get anything to
open. I have someone that can "fix" my computer by
reinstalling everything - I have nothing to reinstall. I
would like to be able to contact someone from Microsoft to
see if there was any tracking from your end, showing I
installed the software and maybe be able to get another
copy without paying a small fortune again. However I can
not email Microsoft company with this question without the
product ID. Which I don't have or can not retrieve.

Have you tried going to www.sarc.com and if you know the name of what is
giving you trouble (worm, virus, etc) ,they have removal tools to download.
If you don't know the name, you can test out your system on the same
website.
Just a thought!
