How do I stop a form from going onto a second page when data is entered
ie setting the row so it does not grow

Since you posted in the Tables newsgroup, I'll assume you already have
your form fields placed in the cells of a table.

Select all the rows of the table. Go to Table > Table Properties >
Row. Check the box for Specify Height. Set a measurement, and set the
right-hand box to Exactly. That will prevent any row from expanding.
