Stop Command

Hello

I am running Access 2002 with XP. When I try to use debug
neither the stop command nor the breakpoint stops the
running of my programs. I have tried them in many
different places with the same results. I have also tried
sending messages to the screen before and after them
which are sent to the screen so I know the code is run.
Can anyone explain why breakpoints and the stop command
may not work.
