Hi everyone.
Is there a way to stop the automatic conversion of text such as
www.microsoft.com into hyperlink (where the text is also made blue and
underlined)? When writing in Word or Excel if SPACE is pressed after typing
a URL-like text it is then automatically converted into a hyperlink. How do
i disable this annoying feature?
Thanks,
George

Hi George K.,

You can turn off the
'Internet and network paths with Hyperlinks'
setting in Word under
Tools=>AutoCorrect Options=>Autoformat
and
Tools=>AutoCorrect Options=>Autoformat As You Type.
