Stop Dialog Box from Maximizing

In my database, is there a way to stop dialog boxes from maximizing when
they are launched from the Switchboard (which I DO [and is at the time of
launch] want maximized)?

TIA

Hi Shelly,

My name is Dennis Schmidt. Thank you for using the Microsoft Newsgroups.

If the underlying form is maximized, your dialog (or any other window form)
will open maximized. There are only a couple of other alternatives. One
is to size you menu form to fit the whole screen like it was maximized (but
not really maximized). Then your dialog will open the way you want it.
The other is to minimize your menu when the dialog is called and maximize
it when the dialog is closed.

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
