Stop duplicate outlook appointments

I just got a new computer with XP Pro on it and I loaded my Office 2003 Pro
on it. Before I hooked up my HP Pocket PC, Outlook seemed to work fine, but
once I synced it, Outlook is VERY SLOW now and when I try to enter a label to
my new calander (since I can't seem to move all my setting from my old Laptop
to this one) it starts automatically making them a recurring appt. I actually
started out this second round with this by reformatting my computer and
putting a fresh XP Pro on it since it was even SLOWER than molassass the
first time I set up the connection and synced. I have a Dell E1705. I can't
find any help or support!! Please help me!
#1- Why is Outlook soooooo slow (and before I reformatted, Word was slow
also) after I moved my appointments into the Calendar by syncing my HP iPAQ
POcket PC 2003 Pro w/Outlook 2002???
#2- How can I stop all this automatic recurring??

Thank you!

Ditto. Have there been any responses? Outlook is almost unusable in that
the response time between each keystroake is in seconds. Also every
appointment I enter defaults to a recurring appointment and this necessitates
significant correcting/editing activity. And, like you, a Dell 1505 with XP
and Office 2003 bundled.

Yes!! That is EXACTLY what was happening to me!! My husband thinks that it is
a driver that is being used in both places or mixed up! Please let me know if
you find out anything!

Thank you sooo much!
