Stop duplicating emails from hotmail account

Hi,
I am using Outlook 2003 (with SP3). I am trying to use outlook to handle a
hotmail account. I downloaded the Outlook connector software and was able to
configure the account to recieve messages from the hotmail account.
However, every time I close Outlook and then open it up again it downloads a
duplicate of all emails.
How do I get it to only download new messages?
