For a long time now pro Word users have known that the correct way to use
outline numbered lists and even just straight-ahead lists and numbering
schemes is to format indents, numbering levels, etc. directly through the
Format, Style option (and NOT through Bullets and Numbering gallery or the
buttons). Now this is effectively switched off and already numbering is going
down the drain (losing its indents/numbering/bullets/etc.) in many docs. Even
those of us who knew how to kid-glove our numbered lists are seeing documents
go wonky because we can't alter the numbering any other way than through the
buttons. ARGH! What were you guys thinking!!! ARGH!
Also it'd be great to see the style list a little easier to get to than the
dialoge box launcher (how about a button like the Styles and Task Pane button
we had before?)
