stop incoming emails from having strikethroughs

I am receiving emails in Outlook 2003 that have strikethroughs in every word.
How do i stop this?
If I try to show you an example on this message, the copy and paste email
that shows strikethroughs in my inbox looks normal when I paste it here.

When I access my inbox from hotmail then it looks normal with no
strikethroughs

are you using Word as the message editor? In Word, do you have the
Strikethrough option selected?
