Stop Mouse from srcolling records

Hello,

How can I stop the mouse from scrolling throught the records in my form? I
did find this http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=278379
and it worked
However it kept blowing up my database so I had to remove it.

Any other sugestions?

Otherwise the simplest solution might be to upgrade to Access 2007. The
MouseWheeel doesn't have this annoying behavior in Form View in the new
version.

I use mousehook.dll in nearly every instance that I use an Access
database. However, I sometimes wish it would turn off, especially as
it stops one scrolling through heaps of code in the Event procedure
window! Does anyone know a way to invoke the opposite (re-hook the
mouse) when calling up the VBA code window, and then unhook again when
returning to form view?

The opposite (to rehook the mousewheel) is :

blRet = MouseWheelON

The opposite is

blRet = MouseWheelON

But in version 2003, at least, while the scrolling is locked in Form View,
it's not in Design View or when in the code window. I thought this was true,
but I re-checked just now.

Locked in Form View, unlocked in Design View, back to locked when returning
to Form View.
