Stop One Note changing Word options on import document

I am using One Note to document IT developments. I want to import the scripts
as document images and add notes, so I have Word set to "Confirm conversion
on open" so that I can save the source (text) version of, say an html page,
as a Word doc then import it into One Note.

Its extremely irritating that, when I do the import, One Note changes my
Word options, switching off the confirm conversion. Can MS not make this a
temporary change and NOT save the changes to normal.dot?

Linda

Perhaps it is just me. But could you clarify...

You want to import "scripts" as document images?
Can you give a more specific example?

Is there a reason why you have to import it into Word and then into OneNote?

The scripts might be web stuff (js, xhtml) or unix (cgi, nawk, perl, etc). I
want to import them as an image so that the content is not modified
accidentally when adding notes. I save them as a doc so that I can use a
heavier type face to improve legibility on the imported image.
reagrds,
Linda
