Stop resizing my images

Can someone please help me keep Outlook 2003 from resizing my images. When I
insert a picture from file, Outlook enlarges the jpeg automatically and makes
it look choppy and/or blurry. When I try to alter the format of the image
after the fact, it says it's at 100% when in reality, it's much larger than
the actual pixel size I created. I know the actual pixel size of the image,
but since Outlook wants to display the image in inches, I have no image how
to correct it manually and to be honest, it would be a hassle anyway.

There has to be a better solution out there. Thanks.

Outlook is a very bad Desktop Publishing application. Maybe you should make
pdf's exactly the way you want and attach them, or compose in an HTML editor
and make them outlook stationary.

I can attach files without a problem, but I want to insert an image within
the text of the email without Outlook increasing the size 25% and compressing
it too boot. Outlook shouldn't alter an images without asking first.

There has to be a way to disable it. Anyone know how?
